Receiving warning after installing plugin

Hi there,

I just installed the FAT Event plugin and it seems to be working except that I’m seeing the following text behind the grid display:

Warning: Illegal string offset ‘skin’ in /home4/s2shospice/public_html/wp-content/plugins/fat-event/templates/layouts/grid.php on line 55

Here’s the line:

$theme_path = get_stylesheet_directory() . ‘/templates/fat-event/skins/’ . $shortcode_config[‘skin’] . ‘.php’;

Can you please offer some help with resolving the issue?
